Frequently asked questions
- How much do you charge for bookkeeping services?
- Our rates are tailored to the specific needs and scale of your organization. Schedule a free strategy call to receive a customized quote that fits your requirements.
- How does working with ProfitLine actually work?
- After our strategy call we develop a comprehensive, personalized bookkeeping and accounting plan for your organization. That plan incorporates leading accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero, and covers everything from day-to-day bookkeeping through more complex financial tasks.
- What software do you use?
- We work across a broad spectrum of accounting tools, including QuickBooks, Xero, and TaxJar, as well as FreshBooks, Zoho Books, and Wave. We tailor the stack to your requirements rather than forcing a single platform.
- Do you prepare tax returns?
- No. ProfitLine does not prepare tax returns. We coordinate directly with your tax accountants and support year-end filings and audits with the reporting, schedules, and documentation they need.
- My industry isn't listed. Can you still help?
- Yes. We serve a wide variety of industries beyond our priority audiences, including technology companies, funded startups, law firms, marketing, and manufacturing. A brief call lets us understand your specific needs.
- Do you work with organizations outside New York and Miami?
- Yes. We are based in New York and Miami Beach and work with organizations across the United States through cloud-based systems and remote operations.
